Sometimes a picture is worth 10,000 followers.
That seems to be the case with Elizabeth Arden’s Instagram account which has grown quickly and organically to hit this major milestone. A quick glance at the channel (make sure you’re following at www.instagram.com/ElizabethArden ) reveals the appeal. Elizabeth Arden’s posts create a collage of products, beauty tips, NYC heritage, inspiration and even photos sent in by some of our most loyal consumers. #ArdenRed Selfies sent in by fans sit next to a clever still life of Easter Peeps and Spring Color sets followed by a post that encourages viewers to, “Be Happy. Be Bright. Be You.” We couldn’t agree more.
News of the milestone hit on the same day that Forrester Research revealed new data showing that Instagram is the standout social media platform when it comes to engagement. The news will no doubt have other brands flocking to Instagram, said Elizabeth Arden’s Director of PR and Social Media, Christina Bennett, but “we’ve created a loyal and engaged following. Instagram is where we can really connect and get personal with our followers by sharing a look into the Elizabeth Arden lifestyle.”
The team at Elizabeth Arden celebrated their 10,000 followers with by working with the iconic Magnolia Bakery in NYC. Together they collaborated to create custom celebratory cupcakes. After a morning photo shoot at Magnolia (where there were a few stolen bites of the cupcakes) and some quick Instagram filtering, the celebratory photo was posted with a special message thanking all of their favorite followers.
