UNTOLD Wins Prestigious Social Media Icon Award

UNTOLD now has even more to tell its fans. On June 2nd the soon-to-be-iconic fragrance won an award for Best Instagram Marketing/PR Campaign, beating out brands such as 3M, Diageo/Ciroc, the Human Rights Campaign and the UN for the honor.
Christina Bennett, Director of Public Relations for Elizabeth Arden, spoke on behalf of company saying, “We are honored to have been nominated with such prestigious brands and organizations and are thrilled to have taken home the prize!”
UNTOLD’s marketing team and PR agency, Lippe Taylor, chose to highlight the NYC heritage of the brand with an Instagram campaign called UNTOLD in The City. Fans were asked to photograph UNTOLD in notable Manhattan locations and landmarks or to send their own photos from their UNTOLD adventures.
The results were as multifaceted as the fragrance itself and include shots of UNTOLD at Rockefeller Center, a candle-lit, rooftop dinner, on the scene in Little Italy and even in the Guggenheim.
The Social Media Icon Awards honor the brands and individuals who have made incredible strides using the power of social media in public relations. It is hosted by PR News, a prestigious industry organization that serves the communications and marketing community at corporations, agencies and nonprofits. The category in which UNTOLD won its award honors the best program to leverage Instagram to build both brand and brand reputation.
